I am Katie Shepherd, a Registered Dietitian and graduate of UCONN's Coordinated Program in Dietetics. And most importantly, the owner and founder of Food Explorers.
My passion for working with children and food has been a dream of mine for a long time. After spending time at WIC, counseling young families about healthy eating, and also as a Retail Dietitian, I've combined all my skills and passions into Food Explorers.
Food Explorers classes can be found across the state of Connecticut and into Massachusetts. We partner with local Parks & Recreation departments, as well as schools, libraries and Girl Scout troops.
